Based on the classification according to the current Food Book, our company sells Class I hot pepper ground (from the former delicacy and special category), in the range above 140-150 ASTA, which belong to the spiciness-free category.
Ground paprika we sell currently come from Spanish or Chinese imports.
Proper storage of ground paprika is important: store at a cool, dry place, protected from light, as the dye content is constantly decomposing and its coloring ability may deteriorate. The highest is, of course, the colouring potential of freshly dried and ground paprika after the October harvest, which by summer already loses some of this ability.
The consumption of smoked ground paprika has been increasing for a few years now, and this vareity can also been found among our available offers.
