The cinnamon flower also comes from the cinnamon tree, the unopened flowers are harvested and dried, it is a real culinary rarity. In this way, floral notes also appear alongside the cinnamon flavour. It is used as a whole spice, it was recommended in old recipes for making pickles like gherkins, and more recently it is also recommended for mulled wine.
